Visual look at Sky Arts

Looking at the homepage for Sky Arts, the layout is very minimal, consisting on two large columns and one small column to the left. Each category is separate by a small square box surround it, the colour palette is all keep to a minimum, mainly consisting of black with the hint of purple to highlight certain bits. The font is also basic using a sans serif typeface which it makes clear and easy to read. Titles are larger in size and bold to help distinguish categories.

Everything is neat and tidy and has its place and is very orderly. I think this would allow anyone to navigate the website with ease and its all very clear. This reflects its audience as they may be of the older generation who find it hard to use websites.
