2 hour brief

we were given the task of effectively create out sting in under 2 hours. We were paired up with people from the illustrator group to help and contribute to the task.

I got together with an illustrator and we both came to an agreement of what we wanted the sting to show. Our idea was pretty simple. have a stage with rose being thrown on the ground and the curtain closing, implying that a show had come to an end. The logo would then gradually appear.

We wanted everything hand drawn to give it a vintage rough look

So we hand drew a rose and scanned it into the computer so then we could add colour in photoshop

W then did the same with a drawing of a stage

We then transferred these images into after effects to animate, We took the rose and using key frame made them look like they were being thrown onto the stage.

In the time we had we didn't have time to complete our full animation and had to compromise, we didn't have time to animate the curtains to close so we had to let the Sky Arts logo appear on the white background.

Having such a small amount of time to create the sting and the fact i was working with other people i really learnt what it takes to get things done in a specific time.

Also, i really like this theatrical theme, however i think i can explore this further and look into different aspects to create something more unique
